At Mid Ulster School of Music we pride ourselves on the qualifications of our teachers so that each student is given the best tuition possible. Every teacher has a formal qualification in Music and a wealth of experience in both performing and conducting music lessons.
All of our new students are afforded a free introductory music lesson, which provides the opportunity to meet their teacher and discuss whether they would like to pursue the exam route or just learn to play for fun. We offer family discounts and also discounts to our senior clients. Our music lessons are accessible to all ages.
In 2004, when Mid Ulster School of Music opened, we began with two teachers. Progressing now into our 9th year in Magherafelt, the school currently has 14 teachers providing music lessons.
We run workshops throughout the year and are fortunate to have special guests and stars from within the music industry to come and offer their advice and expertise. Recently we had Fra Lee, star from the blockbuster musical Les Misérables, come into the school to offer his help at one of our workshops.
